One for the books today! Vincent and I headed out this summer morning for our Offshore and Reef Fishing trip down by the glades. We launched early morning under partly cloudy skies with strong storms possible later in the day. The Upper Keys waters were looking good for our offshore run, and I was ready to put Vincent on some quality fish with Coral Sea Charters.

With our gear rigged and ready, we worked trolling patterns first before switching between bottom fishing and jigging techniques throughout the day. Vincent connected with a solid Great Barracuda that put up a great fight in gator country waters. Philip and their crew joined us for what promised to be a fantastic day on the water. The early morning start at 7:00 am gave us plenty of time to make the most of our trip. As we headed out, partly cloudy skies provided perfect conditions for our offshore excursion. The weather was just right for a day of fishing, and we were all eager to see what the waters had in store for us.

With our gear rigged and ready, we focused on a variety of techniques to maximize our chances of success. Trolling was our primary method, allowing us to cover more ground and target different species. We also employed deep dropping and kite fishing, which are excellent strategies for the diverse marine life in these waters. Our efforts paid off as we managed to hook into some quality fish. The highlight of the day was landing a nice 20-inch Mutton Snapper, a prized catch in these parts. We also reeled in a 9-inch Yellowfin, adding some variety to our haul. We started the day with some deep sea and light tackle fishing, working different depths and presentations to find where the fish were holding. While we didn't end up hooking into any of the prized offshore species like Mahi or Tuna, it was still a fun and productive day on the water. We spotted plenty of baitfish and gamefish crashing the surface, and it was great to see the action, even if we didn't get any to bite.

today the sea was angry my friends but the fishing was great .we started catching mahi mahi in 140 feet of water and continued catching them our to 300feet .we also caught some small bonito and yellowtail and one nice shark.I am glad we stuck it out all day.
